Sperry General Store

Liza’s home décor and gift-focused design business. Her vintage-style travel posters, prints and postcards are inspired by Art Deco — specifically the Swiss posters from the 1930s. They can be seen on Maine Cabin Masters, in Downeast Magazine, and in various boutique shops throughout Maine.

MAINE WOODS DARK SKY POSTER

We designed this commemorative poster for the Appalacian Mountain Club. It celebrates the newly established International Dark Sky Park in the North Maine woods. Purchase directly on their website to support AMC and the great outdoors.

Collage & Paper Art

Rachel has an amazing talent for texture and cut paper. She’s had gallery shows at local restaurants as well as Casco Bay Gallery.

Full Transmission

Liza’s husband Patrick created Full Transmission, a full-service editing studio. He has edited award-winning long-form videos as well as developed commercials, short videos and digital spots for a wide range of clients including 1800 Tequila, Three Olives Vodka, Genesee Beer, TD Bank, State Street Global Advisors, T. Rowe Price, Wawa, Unilever, Stonyfield, Golden Corral, Macaroni Grill, Wyman’s Wild Blueberries, Welch’s Grape Juice, Perdue Chicken, Friendly’s, Salvation Army, Shutterfly, LoJack, Greenpeace, Samsung, DuPont, JBL and LLBean. Among his latest (and most personally meaningful) work is a short documentary film about MaineWorks, which screened at the Portland Museum of Art.

Looking for Letterpress?

Our personal wedding stationery designed by Liza and letterpress printed by our friend David at Wolfe Editions. Liza apprenticed here during her time at MECA&D — and fell in love with the process. In 1997, David Wolfe opened Wolfe Editions in the Bakery Studio Building. Since then, the shop has had scores of workshops, printed dozens of published works, and produced innumerable fine print editions. It’s by far the best print shop in New England.
